Acceptable Use Policy

The one rule that matters most

You may only scan websites and applications that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. VibeSafely is a security tool; pointing it at systems you have no permission to assess can violate computer-misuse laws and is strictly prohibited. By running a scan you confirm you have that authorization.

Authorized targets only

• Scan only domains and applications you own, or for which you hold documented permission from the owner.
• Do not scan third-party sites, shared infrastructure, or assets you merely have access to but are not authorized to test.
• We enforce scope in the product — we scan the host you provide and do not pivot to others — but the responsibility for authorization is yours.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Scan, probe or test any system without authorization, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
• Circumvent, disable or interfere with our scope controls, rate limits or other safeguards.
• Attack, overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to VibeSafely itself or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to plan, support or carry out unlawful activity, or to infringe the rights of others.
• Resell, sublicense, scrape, or build a competing product from the Service or its output without our written permission.
• Submit malware, or use the Service to distribute malicious content.
• Misrepresent your identity or authorization, or use another person's account without permission.

Fair use of automated scanning

Scans consume real resources. Use the Service reasonably and within your plan limits. We apply rate limits and may throttle, queue or block activity that is abusive, automated beyond your plan, or that degrades the Service for others.

Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is using VibeSafely to scan targets without authorization, or is otherwise abusing the Service, tell us at hello@vibesafely.com. We investigate reports and act on them.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. We may act immediately and without notice where conduct threatens the Service, its users, or third parties. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
